On Harris County PCT 3: Pct 3 is one of the fastest growing areas of Harris County and needs someone that will help guide this growth. As a business-minded leader, I will make sure that PCT 3 (Katy area, Harris County) continues to grow in a manner that strengthens the community by encouraging new businesses and residential development that is supported by the area market. I would work to make county systems and programs much more accessible to the public by making sure that the county website is much more user friendly rather than just providing information. Pct. 3 does not have a Small Business Program and I will work to develop such a program, this will ensure that Harris County-based Small Bussinesses have opportunities to compete for county business at greater level than they do today. I would work to for greater coordination, communication and information exchange among the area law enforcement agencies such as HCSO, HPD, and Katy PD, in order to keep Pct 3 as safe as possible. In addition, in the area of budgeting, Commissioner Radack spent over $2 million in overtime because he did not hire a appropriate extra personnel.
